Founded in 2014 by John Wynn, Vanguard Builders has made a commitment to providing Single Family homes in Montgomery County, Texas to individuals and investors alike. We pride ourselves on identifying land in underserved neighborhoods and communities and building affordable housing. HomeAid partners with Vanguard Builders on Angel Reach duplexes
HomeAid Houston is partnering with Vanguard Builders to construct three duplexes for Angle Reach, a non-profit in the Conroe area. Angel Reach serves homeless youth who have timed out of Foster Care or were released early from foster care programs, who still need GED/HS diplomas, higher education and or life skills training.

President
John Wynn is the founder of Vanguard Builders in the Greater Houston Area and Southeast Texas. John has built a career on a lifetime of devotion to crafting personalized visions for clientele in their residential dreams. He offers broad experience in both Real Estate and new home construction. In addition, he is responsible for the overall strategic direction and leadership of the company.
John graduated from the University of Houston with a double Major in Business Management and Entrepreneurship, in 1996. John also holds an active Texas Real Estate Broker’s License (# 505127) since 2003.
“My building has evolved from building typical production home to semi-custom homes over the years, and now my focus if primarily working on custom homes. I enjoy taking customers’ ideas and formulating those ideas to a completed home for a family. It is very rewarding to turn those ideas to reality,” John said.
